Passing My Driving Test

It seems like I passed my driving test a very long time ago. I remember very little from my own driving lessons and driving test. All I remember is that I did not feel that I should have passed my test on the day, but needless to say I did not argue with the examiner and was happy to accept the pass!

Accidents

I have been involved in a number of accidents since passing my driving test. Some of which were most definitely my own fault, and some of them were certainly the fault of another. I have, fortunately not been injured in any of the crashes other than a bit shaken up and potentially a bit of wounded pride.

Additional Training

In recent years, I have had the pleasure of being provided with some additional driver training, both through work and also on a private level. Each time I have found it really beneficial, and each time I hear and apply things that I have heard before and vow never to forget again!

For me, I think it just goes to show the human nature of falling back into old habits, and shows the need to continue having additional driver training on a regular basis. Additional driver training is something that is often looked at as being a waste of time and money, but, in my opinion, it has been invaluable.

When I look back on my (driving) life, I often wonder how I survived, not knowing what I know now.
